MACKENZIE

For my senior project I went on a backpacking trip to a primative reserch area in Southern Utah. 

I backpacked 11 miles a day with a 50 pound backpack through unmaintained high desert.

I had the opportunity to see ancient Anasazi ruins that date over 5000 years old.

I walked on sandstone cliffs that were over 600 feet high with my backpack.

The trip was incredible and gave me a real sense of adventure.

I learned a lot on the people that used to live there and wrote my senior paper on the topic.
